TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF STOP TOOLS AND SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM


Definitions

  • Bank - IDBank CJSC.
  • Customer - An individual who is an account holder, cardholder, borrower, or depositor of the Bank. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the term “Customer” shall also refer to a “User” to the extent that the relevant provision applies to the User.
  • Online Banking - the idbanking.am platform.
  • Mobile Banking - the Idram&IDBank mobile application enabling the Customer to access information regarding transactions performed through their accounts and/or to execute transactions, including related actions.
  • Remote Banking Systems - Remote banking service (online and mobile banking) systems.
  • Stop Tools (Security and Self-Restriction Tools) - a set of features available on the Bank’s Digital Platforms enabling the Customer, at their own initiative, to restrict or block access to several or all remote banking services, as well as to ensure proper management of security settings.
  • Blocking - the suspension of remote access to a banking service provided by the Bank, executed upon the Customer’s application.
  • Unblocking - the restoration by the Bank of remote access to a previously blocked service, based on the Customer’s application and appropriate identification.

1. General Provisions

1.1 These Terms and Conditions establish the procedure for using the security and self-restriction tools available to all Customers of the Bank. These tools supplement the general terms governing remote banking services and are intended to ensure a high level of protection for Customers’ accounts and funds on the Bank’s Digital Platforms.

1.2 The use of the Tools (Blocking) restricts only remote access, it shall not terminate any existing agreements and shall not result in the final closure/termination of bank accounts, cards, loans, or deposits.

2. Rules for Using the Stop Tools and Security Settings

2.1 The Customer may independently activate the Stop Tools through the Bank’s Digital Platforms, or submit a corresponding application (hereinafter referred to as the Application) at any Bank branch or via the Contact Center.

2.2 The activation of a Stop Tool (Blocking) does not require the Customer to provide any explanation or justification.

2.3 The following self-restriction and security management tools are available to Customers through the Bank’s Digital Platforms:

  • Restriction on obtaining loans and credit lines
  • Restriction on the use of the current Rocket Line limit and on increasing such limit
  • Restriction of transfers and payments included in the Stop Tools list on the Bank’s Digital Platforms
  • Blocking of payment cards

2.4 Where the Customer activates a Stop Tool independently, the Blocking shall take effect only after the Customer confirms the respective action on the Digital Platform.

2.5 Where the ability to increase/change the Rocket Line limit through the online platform is restricted, the currently available limit may still be used. To prevent the use of the current Rocket Line limit, that tool must also be blocked.

2.6 Where the transfers and payments included in the above list are blocked, the execution from the Idram wallet of the payments and transfers specified in Clause 2.3 shall also be blocked.

2.7 Following the implementation of the Blocking, the Bank shall notify the Customer via text message, email, or any other communication channel selected by the Customer in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

2.8 Once a Stop Tool has been activated, the current status of the blocked services, as well as the date and time of the Blocking, shall be displayed to the Customer on the Digital Platform.

2.9 During the Blocking period, the Customer retains the ability to view the relevant services and to use them in person at the Bank’s premises (branches).

2.10 No transaction involving a remotely blocked service may be performed until such service has been unblocked in accordance with the established procedure.

3. Unblocking Conditions

3.1 New Device Login Security: For security purposes, access to the Bank’s Digital Platforms from a new (previously unrecognized) device shall be permitted exclusively after the Customer completes an additional identification procedure, either at a Bank branch or through the Contact Center.

3.2 Unblocking shall be carried out exclusively upon the Customer’s initiative at a Bank branch or through the Contact Center, based on a corresponding Application and subject to mandatory identification in accordance with the Bank’s internal regulations.

3.3 Applications for Unblocking submitted to the Contact Center shall be processed by the Bank during the following day, except where Unblocking is carried out based on an Application submitted by the Customer at a Bank branch.

3.4 The Bank shall process an Application for Unblocking submitted through the Contact Center within a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of the Application for Unblocking.

3.5 Following the completion of the Unblocking process, the Bank shall notify the Customer via text message, email, or any other communication channel selected by the Customer.
