USA Representative Office
FAQ
No, it is not possible to open a bank account or use banking services at the USA Representative Office. Account opening and the provision of banking services by IDBank are carried out exclusively at the Bank’s branches or remotely.
You can independently submit an account opening application through IDBank’s official website. The remote account opening process is carried out only based on an application submitted through the website.
The minimum required documents for opening an account are the following:
· identification,
· W8/W9 form,
· Client Questionnaire (Completed on the IDBank Website)
Scanned copies of the documents can be attached to the application submitted through IDBank’s official website or sent by email to [email protected].
The Representative Office may assist with the physical delivery of sealed envelopes addressed to the Bank; however, the Representative Office does not verify, copy, or assess the content and completeness of the submitted documents.
A Representative Office employee is not authorized to request personal data from a customer; therefore, the Representative Office does not collect or store customer data.
Remote identification is conducted via video call. The date and time of the video call are agreed with the customer in advance. During the call, the customer must have the original physical passport available.
A Representative Office employee may provide general information about the application completion procedure and requirements, but cannot fill out the application on behalf of the customer or enter data in the customer’s name. The application is completed exclusively by the customer.
Yes. The guaranteed number of deposits held by individuals is defined and established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
